The Department of Labour has announced that the minimum wage for domestic workers will increase on 1 December 2016 in terms of Sectoral Determination 7 (SD7).

New Minimum Wage for Workers in the Farming and Forestry Sectors for 2016/2017
The Department of Labour announced on Wednesday, 3 February 2016 that the minimum wage for employess in the farming and forestry sectors will be adjusted with effect from 1 March, 2016. The increase is 6.6 percent.
